Original form, reframed with flames. The 1460 8-eye boot is updated with fiery appliques layered over shiny Overdrive leather for a bold, high-energy finish. The appliques are crafted from Arcadia, a three-color rub-off leather that gives a unique look to every silhouette. With buzz saw-inspired eyelets, the boot is finished with black laces, our scripted heel loop, yellow welt stitching and a smoke DMS sole with classic grooving.
Material
Overdrive is a waxy leather with an oily feel and worn-in character from day one. Multi-Arcadia is a high-shine leather with a hand-finished brush-off effect that reveals more layers of color over time.
Care Instructions
Clean away dirt using a damp cloth and allow to dry, then apply Dr.Martens Neutral or colored wax polish as appropriate, using a Dr.Martens shoe brush, (Neutral can be applied to all colors). Allow to dry, then buff vigorously to desired shine using a second clean Dr.Martens shoe brush. (We advise to use 2 brushes per color, one to add the polish and the second clean dry brush to buff up the leather for the best results). Or add Dr.Martens Wonder Balsam (using the sponge applicator supplied with the product) if a duller look and waxy feel is desired.
Construction
